Staff
Each person gets a 4-digit PIN. Hand it to them once; they type their name and PIN on their phone to see their shifts. Edit any field in place. Email and hourly rate are optional — email powers "Email the schedule," rate powers labor cost in Reports.
Archive
People who left. Their history stays in reports and old schedules; they're off the grid and out of published links.Availability for
Tap a day to cycle: unknown → available → can't work → PTO. Click ⏱ to set hours for available days. Workers can also send you a code from their phone (Schedule tab → "Paste availability code") — one code can carry several weeks.
Publish
Publishing takes a snapshot of one or more weeks and turns it into a link and a QR code. The link contains the schedule itself, so it works with no server. Publish two or more weeks at once and staff can flip between them on their phone. Tape the QR by the time clock.

Reports
Hours are scheduled hours (there's no time clock). Called-off and no-show shifts are excluded from hours worked. Mark attendance by clicking a shift after the day has passed.

Job areas / positions
Grill, Register, Delivery, Front desk, Floor… Every shift gets one, so you can see who's covering each area on each day. Click an area's ✎ to write its job duties — workers see them on their phone under any shift in that area.
Business hours
Shift presets are built from these. Anyone scheduled before open or after close gets an "early" or "late" tag so it's obvious on the grid and on their phone.
Backup
Everything is stored in this browser on this computer. Download a backup regularly; restore it on another computer to move your data.
Business access
Each business has its own manager password. The owner (admin) password can reset any business's password from the login screen. This is a lock on the door, not a vault: the data still lives in this browser, so anyone with access to this computer can find it. Real accounts come with the hosted version.
How this version works
v0.4 — local only. The schedule lives in your browser; publishing packs the week into the link itself, so nothing is sent to a server. Workers' availability comes back to you as a short code they send you (text, email) which you paste in. A hosted version with automatic sync is the next step.
